Easy, Healthy and only 3 ingredients! This is by far my FAVORITE smoothie recipe.

- Cook Time3 min
- Total Time6 min
- Serves2-3 Servings
Ingredients
- 1.5 Carrot Juice (Fresh or Store Bought)
- 2 Cups Frozen Mangos
- 1 Ripe Banana
Method
If making your own fresh carrot juice using a juicer, take a few carrots at a time and place them in your juicer. Juice as many carrots as needed to make 1.5 cups.
Pour your carrot juice, mangos and banana into the blender.
Blend on high until fully combined and smooth. If you want a thicker smoothie, use 1 cup of carrot juice. Enjoy!
Feel free to add more to this recipe! Spinach is an easy and delicious add in. A small knob of garlic is also delicious in this!

Easy Mango Smoothie | Recipe Method
Ok guys, this is one of the best tricks to this Easy Mango Smoothie, or any smoothie really…. Fresh carrot juice! Anytime I would make a smoothie, I would always struggle with the liquid. Milk seemed to take away from the “fruity” flavor that I was going for, water had no flavor and would have me pouring honey in, and store bought apple juice just seemed too sweet. I wanted to find something that would both benefit the taste, but also be healthy. Voila! Carrot juice.
Remember when juicing was all the craze….and then it died! Just me? Well, maybe that’s what happened in my household. We were juicing everything to get our greens and veggies in once a day. Occasionally we’d do a juice cleanse too. Then, we just stopped. It seemed like our ol’ juicer lost it’s purpose in our kitchen. One afternoon my kiddos were hungry for a snack. I had a bunch of carrots in the crisper, and some frozen mangos. I decided to dust off the ol’ juicer and juice the carrots to use in my son’s smoothies. Brilliant! It turned that mediocre smoothie into something legit. A good balance of sweet and fruity. And it was healthy too!
Fresh Juice VS Store Bought
If you don’t have a juicer no worries! They actually sell carrot juice at the store. This works just as good. It can be a bit pricy however. It also can change the flavor slightly as the juice won’t be as fresh, meaning less nutrients. Also, the stuff from the store is sometimes pasteurized which can remove more nutrients from the juice . If you’re wanting the full flavor and health benefits of fresh carrot juice, I would advise that you juice your own. If you’re looking for a juicer but don’t want to spend $60+ dollars, thrift stores actually are a great place to look. I’ve bought a juicer or two there and it worked great. Just make sure all of the parts are there!
Other Variations and Add-Ins
Feel free to add more to this Easy Mango Smoothie to make it pop. We’ve added fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh ginger, even a little cliantro! A nice squirt of lime juice would also kick booty in this! This also makes a killer smoothie bowl recipe. Just add a bit less carrot juice to make it more “spoonable”. Enjoy!
