    easy Sesame Dressing

Ok people, this Easy Sesame Dressing recipe is exactly as it’s described. Easy. Sesame-y. And welp, it’s a dressing. It’s seriously scrumptious and sooo incredible simple to make. It also just so happens to be made of 100% whole foods. Win Win! Let’s dive in.

    Tahini
    Lime Juice (1)
    Honey

Tahini vs Peanut Butter? Honestly, I love them both! Both have a nutty flavor, both are healthy and both are easy to find. You can actually find tahini in Walmart, go figure! It’s next to the peanut butter usually. This is the Tahini brand that I used, but honestly, any brand should be fine.

    Salt
    Sesame Oil
    Water

Lime Juice or Rice Vinegar? Again, this comes down to preference….and maybe time. I love fresh squeezed lime juice, and I usually try to use it in this recipe when I can. It adds a level of freshness, and dare I say more exotic flavor, to this recipe. However, sometimes I don’t want to buy 8 or more limes and squeeze them all, (however, this little gadget makes that job SUPER easy). Or sometimes, if I have all of the other ingredients and don’t want to head out to the store, I’ll use rice vinegar. This is just as delicious as the lime juice and substitutes really well. It’s also nice if you’re trying to save a few minutes.

    Toasting Sesame Seed Tips

    Toasted Sesame Seeds

Toasting Sesame Seeds is mostly easy. They can however, burn fairly easily. Here are some good things to know so you  DON’T burn them. First, I always keep my burner on medium-high heat. This keeps the seeds from cooking too fast. Second, stir constantly. This will ensure that you are always seeing both sides of the seed, making it easier to see the coloring, and whether or not it’s done. The third and final tip is the coloring. You don’t want super dark sesame seeds. Just a nice light to medium golden color will do!

This Easy Sesame Dressing is so versatile! Try it on salads, as a marinade, as a seasoning for fried rice, as a dip for sushi’s or anything else that you do with sauce. Enjoy!
